Seattle Center

Spacious park with lots of green space. Went during Seattle Pride and there were three stages, a bunch of vendor booths, and lots of people to fill up the whole park. The Seattle Centre is close to a lot of tourist attractions and travel between locations is easy. There is also a lot of free outdoor art to check out.
Very clean and spacious bulk food store with a variety of bulk foods to purchase in containers. You can bring your own containers to be weighed or use the paper bags provided. I finally found powdered laundry detergent that I wasn’t able to find anywhere else. Good concept and a great location within Kitsilano.
Serene green space right among the hustle and bustle of the big city. There are benches to sit on to read, have lunch, or take in the peaceful view. Great place for photos of Osgoode Hall. Entrance on Queen St through the gates that are folded inwards to only allow one person at a time. Right next to Nathan Phillips Square.
We went during their Open House and not only was the whole gallery free, but there were also free food and coffee to take with you and enjoy. Really diverse art spanning several floors. Large area for displays and exploring. Easy to spend a few hours there admiring the art and reading the descriptions. There were benches peppered throughout so you can take a break or just get really immersed in a painting. Could not recommend it enough to those visiting especially for a rainy or cold day.
